Mt Mansfield
Jeremy Jones is the most prolific big mountain snowboarder in history. His descents through the Alaskan backcountry and his local status as a Jackson Hole dynamo are legendary.Yet for all his high profile riding through the world's biggest and best mountains, Jones hasn't forgotten where he came from.
A Massachusetts native, Jones earned his stripes on the relatively steep (and long) slopes of Mt. Mansfield in Stowe, Vt. As someone who grew up riding Stowe, it's both vindicating and nostalgic to read Jeremy's feelings about the place.

Stowe's a quaint New England village
As home mountain to Jake Carpenter, pro riders like Jake Blauvelt and Travis Kennedy and nearly every employee at Burton, Stowe is truly a one of a kind place, and a one of the best places in the world to be a snowboarder.
