We love stories of "extreme sports" meeting the mainstream and here's one (sort of) that inspired us to bring back a long dormant column - Would You?

Meet 21-year-old Huntington Beach beauty, Alexandria Everett, who is soon to be featured as a contestant on an upcoming episode of "America's Next Top Model" set to air Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

Everett describes herself as someone who likes hanging out with her five brothers and one sister, as well as snowboarding, hiking, surfing and cliff-diving.

According to her web bio this all-around adventure girl stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and is vying for a chance to win a spread in Italian Vogue and a $100,000 contract with Cover Girl despite listing her job status as "unemployed."

Considering her obvious modeling ambitions we feel confident that she's in a win-win situation. Even if she fails to make the cut on America's Next Top Model she's already achieved what thousands of 21-year-olds around the country dream of daily - being an unemployed beach/ski bum with plenty of time to catch waves and shred pow.

And while we don't have any surf or snowboarding footage of Alexandria in the water or on the snow we did find a few photos from her modeling portfolio along with the clip(s) below that we certainly define as "action."
