Rob Dyrdek’s Grand Opening of the Wild Grinders Themed North Hollywood Safe Spot Skate Spot and 7 Eleven Store Front on May 18, 2010. Dyrdek created the idea for the Safe Spot Skate Spot Program, which offers safe havens for kids nationwide to skate. This program is funded by the Rob Dyrdek Foundation. This is the third Skate Plaza opened by Dyrdek. The first opened at the Lafayette Park Skate Plaza, and second is located in Hollenbeck Park. Dyrdek plans to continue building more Safe Spot Skate Spot locations in Los Angeles.
